A great place for drinks and food. It looks and feels like an old fashioned 'bruin café', but with a more modern twist with the menu. They have a nice selection of lunch options and a variety of tapas to choose from. Staff was friendly, although we had to wait a bit. It was quite busy, with people meeting for talks and drinks (and games) and others like us to have a relaxed lunch. An easy recommendation.
Solid neighborhood bar/restaurant. Cute corner sport with outdoor seating. Friendly staff as well. Several beers on tap plus the usual cocktails and the standard bar bites. I enjoyed the pale ale and marokkaanse balletjes- sautéed lamb balls with yogurt sauce. That’s all for now.
This is one of my favorite places that we went to because it was so random! We stumbled upon this place because it was one of the only sit down places we could find in the area that served food. And boy was it good! Definitely a “locals” place because menu was all in Dutch but our server was so helpful it was no issue. Both of the people that worked there were always smiling so that was nice to see! So friendly! What he recommended to me was toast with some sort of lettuce or arugula and Burrata on top. It was so good! I also got the cappuccino. So good. They just make ‘em better in Europe. My friend had their croissant, cheese, and hard boiled egg. She said it was good too. Had a cute vibe as well! Like a bar/coffee place/cafe. They had games in the corner you could get out to play as well. Super cute! I would definitely come back here!
Really nice to sit alongside the building by the canal/road for a nice view and ambience. We had lots of starters and they were great!

Excellent quiet small cafe, food menu is small and well done and is very tasty. Local IPA is also excellent and zesty.
The sandwich we ordered was good but nothing special. I liked the old atmosphere of the place but when we were there it took too long for a staff to come take our order and get the bills. Unfortunately we didn’t feel that welcome here. Probably it’s a good place for regular customers but not for passers like us.
